I recently broke up with my boyfriend, and had the inspiration to do a sad manipulation. Originally I wanted this horse to be looking down at hoof prints by her side, as if she was remembering the love she once had beside her and realizing now it was gone. But I decided since I'm horrible at painting in sand to create a universe that she is alone in, without him, and added a tear to symbolize her depression. I was also going to paint in a heart & key necklace my boyfriend gave me but I got too lazy. This piece means a lot to me, and I believe it's my best yet.
